Trading fees on YesNo.fans explained, with examples

By YesNo.fans editorial team · Updated

Fees are shown in the quote before you confirm. This guide explains each fee, who it applies to, and how to estimate its effect.

Service fee

A service fee is charged on trading activity to operate and protect the platform. The published rate at the time of writing is 2%, and the rate in effect when you trade applies. As an illustration only, 2% of a 100 USDT trade is 2 USDT; the quote shows the exact amount for your trade.

Payout fee

A payout fee may apply when a resolved market pays winners. It is included when the final payout is calculated. The published rate in effect at the time applies and may vary by market.

Creator fee

When creator payouts are enabled, the market creator may receive a fee at settlement. It applies only to a winning position’s positive settled profit, after the original position cost and transaction fees are deducted. It is not charged on losing positions.

Referral commission

Referral commissions reward eligible referrals and are tied to eligible positive settled profit, up to the published maximum. They do not create an extra charge on you as a trader.

Withdrawal costs

On-chain withdrawals carry network resource costs that are quoted per withdrawal and are not a fixed fee. The withdrawal screen shows the quote before you confirm.

How to check fees before you trade

Read the fee line in the quote, compare the total with the amount you meant to spend, and remember that rates can change; each trade or settlement uses the rate in effect at that time.
