Will the LBMA Gold Price PM auction settle at $4,800.00 an ounce or above before December 1, 2026?
Gold traded near $4,319 an ounce on September 22, 2026, down roughly 7% over the trailing month as hawkish Fed commentary lifted rate expectations, yet still 14.7% higher year over year and well off its January 2026 record of $5,608. This market resolves YES if the final LBMA Gold Price PM auction of the window settles at or above $4,800.00. Spot quotes and AM auctions do not qualify.
Resolution rules · English binding text
This market resolves YES if the LBMA Gold Price PM auction settles at or above $4,800.00 per troy ounce in the last auction held at or before November 30, 2026, 23:59 (UTC-8) — equivalent to December 1, 2026, 07:59 UTC, as confirmed by the official LBMA Gold Price PM benchmark administered by ICE Benchmark Administration. Resolves NO if that auction settles below $4,800.00. Only the LBMA Gold Price PM benchmark is binding; spot XAU/USD quotes, futures prices, AM auctions, auctions earlier in the window and later revisions do not change the outcome. If no PM auction is published on any of the final three London business days before the deadline, the market resolves NO. A value exactly on the threshold resolves YES (higher bracket).
